The Annual General Meeting in NICCI elected SVP in Statkraft’s International Hydropower Business Area Tima Iyer Utne as new Chair.
She is currently Head of Business Development and Regional Head of hydropower activities in South Asia, including India and Nepal and is a Board member of several joint ventures in these countries.
Tima joined Statkraft in 2005, working in SN Power (Statkraft and Norfund Joint Venture) as CSR and Communication’s Director before moving to project development in Southeast Europe. She headed Statkraft’s development, construction and operation of hydropower projects and assets in Southeast Europe and Turkey from 2008 – 2014.
Tima has a degree in Mathematics from Bristol University and has over 15 years of international consulting and advisory experience from accounting, finance, risk management, strategy and business development. She was a Partner in KPMG for 8 years, working in advisory services prior to joining Statkraft.

The AGM also re-elected the following Board members:
Per Reinboth, Torkel Thorsen, Lars Granbakken, Sarbajit Deb and Trond Skundberg. Ingrid B. Åsheim and Martin Jetlund is already elected until 2017 and hence was not up for election on this weeks AGM. Honorary board member is NAK Browne, Ambassador of India to Norway
