Data Protection Directive GDPR is a new EU directive that will start on July 20, 2018 in Norway and other EU / EEA countries. GDPR replaces the Norwegian Privacy Act and, among other things, imposes higher requirements on how companies should process your personal information.
The work of adapting to GDPR is already under way. Our website is constantly updated with what GDPR entails and how we ensure that your personal information is handled properly in the future. Here your rights will be described and how to make them applicable as of the law comes into force on July 20th.
Google Analytics
NICCI uses the Google Analytics statistics tool. We can thus obtain general traffic information on our pages and then analyze. We do not analyze individual customers.
Information about cookies
What is a cookie? A cookie is a simple text file stored on the user’s computer (or mobile device) created when a user visits a webpage using a program called a browser (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari). A cookie is not an application in itself and does not do anything actively on the user’s computer. A cookie can not be used to identify a user personally but they help to improve the user’s experience of a website. A cookie simply on the site to read the contents of the cookie text file. Cookies are set by this site (first party cookies), but may also be set by other websites (such as You Tube) that run the content of the site’s pages (third party cookies).
