This week NICCI board members met Mr. Bhutoria, whose name is synonymous with social welfare activities and promotion of Indian folk art, literature and culture.
Our board members Per Reinboth and Ingrid Åsheim informed Mr. Bhutoria and General Secretary in The United Nations Association of Norway Anne Cathrine Uteng da Silva on NICCI´s activities and extensive program for 2020.
The Chamber’s Board and administration has already completed the event plan for 2020 and is now coordinating it with our partners and potential contributors to our meetings, before it is circulated to all members.
Sundeep Bhutoria, social and cultural activist whose name is synonymous with social welfare activities and promotion of Indian folk art, literature and culture. He is an outspoken community conscience and a youth icon representing India in United Nations Associations and various other fora and non-governmental organisations.
Mr Bhutoria is also an author, speaker, columnist, blogger, art collector and a wildlife enthusiast.
The NICCI bord member also informed the guests on Norway-India trade and the Norwegian government’s new India strategy. The meeting was hosted at our partner member DNB´s office – and our Board member Ingrid Åsheim also informed about DNB´s extensive cooperation with the Indian IT company TCS.
Sundeep Bhutoria belongs to a family of industrialists but has, by his own choice, opted to spend his time and efforts in promoting social welfare and cultural activities. He is also an avid traveller a cultural emissary having visited about 50 countries.
Mr. Bhutoria expressed interest in cooperating with NICCI and a possible contribution to India Business Day in Oslo 2020 was specifically discussed.
