APRIL 2015: NICCI members are welcome to join our “Innovation study trip” to Mumbai and Delhi, organized in cooperation with Innovation Forum Norway.
PROGRAMME
14 April, Mumbai
A day of exploring corporate innovation in the financial capital of India.
-We will make an exclusive visit to one of the top ten reputed industry houses of India, the Mahindra Group. Chairman and Managing Director Anand Mahindra is on Fortune Magazines list of the worlds 50 greatest leaders and was elected “Entrepreneur for the year 2013″ by Forbes Magazine India.
-In the afternoon we will be introduced to doing business in India, by Consul General George Mathew. George is Managing Director in Norinco and is also vice president in the Norwegian Business Association India.
-Debriefing, discussion and traditional Indian dinner.
15 April, Mumbai
From social to academic.
-We will start the day being inspired by social- innovation and entrepreneurship. We will visit impressing NAANDI, one of India’s largest NGO’s -educating 100000 girls. Naandi is also backing new social entrepreneurs by setting up businesses more in touch with community needs than traditional grant-funded activities.
-In the afternoon we will make another site visit, to one of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology, the IIT Bombay.
We will get a glimpse into the impressing campus of Indias brightest tech-heads. Academic innovation is getting serious business in India and we will experience the start-up enviroment spinning off IITB.
-Debriefing, discussion and dinner.
-Exploring nightlife innovation in Indias most famous club, Blue Frog.
16 April, Delhi
-Breakfast session: Norwegian Venture Capital.
-Flight to Delhi.
-Arriving in Delhi, we will go straight for a session at Telenor. The telecom giant has had their fair share of challenges and India experiencing. We are eager to be let in on the lessons-learned and understand the strategies behind their breakthroughs.
-After a possible NHO / NICCI meeting in the afternoon, we will join the business summit opening, starting at 7 PM with cocktails, welcome address and dinner – all at the award winning Oberoi Hotel in Gurgaon.
17 April, Delhi
From the 16-18 April, we are following the official NABS program in Delhi.
We are participating in the Norway – Asia Business Summit (NABS) in Delhi, following the official program as published on the summit website www.norway-asia.com
18 April, Delhi
We are participating in the Norway – Asia Business Summit (NABS) in Delhi, following the official program as published on the summit website www.norway-asia.com
-Possible NHO / NICCI meeting
-Delhi Sightseeing or visit to Taj Mahal.
-Dinner reception at the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
INFORMATION / CONDITIONS
The Innovation program in Mumbai is exclusively for members of Norway India Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Innovation Forum Norway and is limited to a small group of around 25 persons.
Cost per person is NOK 14.950,- including events, site visits in Mumbai/Delhi, local transportation, some meals and the participation fee to the Norway-Asia Business Summit in Delhi. Air transportation and hotels not included, and must be arranged by the individual participant. We will suggest flights and hotels and give you the required information on Visa to enter India.
