The Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide will open our seminar with the topic: “Is Norway responding well to the rise of India?”

India is a rising power and will fast become the world’s most populous country. This seminar takes stock of Norwegian business and government actors’ engagement with India and asks how Norway can best contribute to, and benefit from, India’s rise. Focus is placed on the west coast – the most economically vibrant part of India with Maharashtra as the financial and business centre.
The seminar assesses Norwegian-Indian cooperation in the spheres of technology, business, education and research.
Among the speakers and panelists are NICCI Board members Maja Vikan (Seema), Espen Wøien (Kongsberg Digital) and Per Reinboth.
