Oslo, 11th September 2023: NICCI organized a roundtable on Green Shift collaboration opportunities, moderated by former Minister of Trade and Industry, Iselin Nybø.
NICCI was asked by Indian Overseas Congress Norway and its President Garisober Gill to organize a business session in connection with the visit of Rahul Gandhi and Sam Pitroda to Oslo. The session was hosted by lawfirm Schjødt.
Organizations and companies present at the table: Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), DNV, Equinor, Tata Concultancy Services, Norfund, Norwep, WIPRO, Tomra, First House, Scandsports, Johnsen Chemicals AS, Pixii, Smart Energy Network and Tiny Mesh.
After an introduction by NICCI Chairman Helge Tryti, and address by Rahul Gandhi – all participants introduced themselves, their companies/products and ambitions in Norway-India business.
The rest of the 1,5-hour long session was dedicated to discussing how well Norwegian companies’ innovations, technology and investments align with India’s future priorities and how Indian companies can contribute to the green shift in Norway. Activities to bridge the opportunities and spark cooperation was also part of the discussion effectively moderated by Iselin Nybø.
